bKash agent robbed

Robbers looted Tk 2.92 lakh from a sales representative of bKash after shooting him at Gilando Bazar in Sadar upazila of the district yesterday morning.

They also shot a rickshaw-puller during the incident, said Aminur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station.

Sales representative Moin Biswas, 22, son of Siddikur Rahman of Kowri village in Harirampur upazila, and rickshaw-puller Majnu Mia, 40, son of Rahim Uddin of Joynagar village, were admitted to Manikganj Sadar Hospital.

Moin sustained bullet injuries in the left leg while Majnu in the right leg, said Dr Mehtab Uddin Ahmed of the hospital.

When Moin sat in front of G Satellite Telecom at the bazaar 3 youths came out from a car and looted the money after shooting him.
