Betel trader murdered

The body of a betel leaf trader was recovered from a forest in Jyotbani village under Birampur upazila of the district at around 3:00pm yesterday. He had gone missing on Tuesday afternoon, said police. The man was identified Abdur Rouf, 40, son of Akbar Ali of Chakgulshan village in the upazila He was owner of a wholesale betel leaf shop at a bazar in Ketra village in the upazila.
