Arms, bullets found

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized two pistols, 12 bullets and four magazines from Ahedpur border area at Sampur in Shibganj upazila of the district on Tuesday morning. Lt Col Abu Zafar Sheikh Mohammad Bazlul Haque, director of BGB-9 Battalion, said the border guards, acting on a tip-off, challenged some people for their suspicious movement in the border area in the morning. Sensing danger, they, however, fled the scene leaving a bag. Later, the BGB men recovered the arms and bullets from it.
