Another murder case filed against Pradeep

Another murder case was filed today against suspended Teknaf Police Station officer-in-charge Pradeep Kumar Das, an accused in a case filed over murder of Major (retd) Sinha Md Rashed Khan.

Shahana Akter of Teknaf's Hoaikong area filed the case with the Cognisance of Court-3 of Senior Judicial Magistrate Helal Uddin, reports our Cox's Bazar correspondent.

She filed the case against Pradip and 26 others, including 22 police personnel, in connection with the death of her husband Mohammad Musa Akbar, who was killed in what police said was a gunfight.

The court took the case into cognisance and asked the Teknaf Police Station OC to submit a report to the court within 10 working days on the progress of the investigation in the case.
