7 eateries fined in Panchagarh

A mobile court fined seven eateries in Panchagarh town Tk 60,000 on Sunday for preparing and serving dirty and unhygienic food. Assistant Director Hasan Al Maruf of the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) conducted the hour-long drive in different areas of the town. Of the eateries, Amantron Bakery was fined Tk 30,000, Jesmin Bakery Tk 20,000, Shital Chinese Restaurant Tk 3,000, and Tk 2,000 each from Karatoa Hotel, Mayer Doa Hotel and Jennifer Food Valley.
