4 decomposed bodies of a family recovered in Tangail

Police have recovered four decomposed bodies of a family from a house at Masterpara area under Madhupur in Tangail earlier today.

The identities of the bodies could not be ascertained immediately, said police. 

After being informed by locals, police recovered the bodies this morning from the house, reports our local correspondent quoting Md Shafiqul Islam, additional superintendent of police of the district.

Shafiqul said criminals killed the four members of the family and fled after keeping the door locked from outside.  

"As no valuables were taken away from the house, police suspects that it was not the motive, or carried out by robbers. Rather they are suspecting that the killings might have occurred by individual persons centering any previous enmity," the police official observed.

He said they were collecting evidence from the spot and investigating the incident.
