3 brick kilns fined in C'nawabganj

A mobile court on Monday fined three brick kilns Tk 1.8 lakh in Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila for using topsoil from cropland and burning firewood in processing of bricks instead of coal.

A mobile court, led by Executive Magistrate Ujjal Kumar, conducted a drive in different brick kilns in the upazila around 2:00pm and fined Padma Bricks Tk 30,000, Moon Bricks Tk 1 lakh and Gold Fixed Bricks Tk 50,000.
