3 arrested with hemp

The Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested three people with 55 kg of hemp from a house at Telipara village in Sadar upazila of the district yesterday. The arrestees are Abdul Matin, 32, son of Abul Hossain, Anwara Begum, 52, wife of Abul Hossain, and Hafiza Begum, 33, wife of Atiar Rahman of the village. Acting on a tip-off, the law enforcers raided the house and arrested the three with the hemp, said Sub-Inspector of DB police Mizanur Rahman Mizan.
