21 gamblers held in Dhaka

Members of Rapid Action Battalion have arrested 21 persons while they were gambling at Bypile area under Ashulia police station in Dhaka.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rab-4, conducted a drive at the Bypile area yesterday night and caught 21 gamblers red handed while they were gambling, a Rab press release said.

A casino board, 100 pieces of yaba, 12 cans of foreign beer, 22 mobile phones and Tk 38,000 were recovered from the spot, stated the release.

A case is underway in this connection, he added.
