2 held with firearm

Police arrested two youths with a foreign made pistol, one magazine, two bullets and 20 Yaba tablets from Rail Bazar area in Jessore town on Wednesday. The arrestees are Raj Hasan Raju, 25, and Rabbi Islam, 24. Manik Chandra, sub-inspector of Jessore Kotwali Police Station, said on secret information, a police team raided the area and arrested the duo with the firearm, bullets and Yaba around 11:30pm. A case was filed in this connection.
