2 filling station staff stabbed dead in Jessore

Two filling station staff were stabbed dead allegedly by their coworker in Bagharpara upazila of Jessore early today.

The deceased are: Obaidur Rahman, 45, manager of Abdul Bari Filling Station, and a station employee, Opu Kha, 40, reports our Benapole correspondent.

Chhoyer Uddin, officer-in-charge of Bagharpara Police Station, said Obaidur, Opu and another staff Sirajul Islam use to guard the station every night.

Sirajul stabbed the duo to death inside the filling station around 5:00am over previous enmity and went into hiding, the OC said.

On information, police recovered the body and sent those to Jessore Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
