2 drug peddlers arrested with hemp

Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) in Lalmonirhat arrested two drug peddlers with 50Kg of hemp from Megharam village in Sadar upazila of the district on Tuesday.
The arrestees were identified as Mukul Pramanik, 46, son of Entaj Ali, and Minhazul Islam, 45, son of late Arif Uddin of Radhakantapur village in Sonatala upazila of Bogra.
Inspector Lokman Hossain of Lalmonirhat DNC said the law enforcers intercepted a battery-run three-wheeler and arrested Mukul and Minhazul with the hemp.
