2 brick kiln owners fined

A mobile court fined two brick kiln owners Tk 1.5 lakh for running the kilns without licenses from The Department of Environment (DoE) in Singair upazila of the district yesterday. Of them, M/S Sumaya Bricks, owned by Suruj Ali of Kholapara village, was fined Tk 1 lakh while M/S Motin Bricks, owned by Abdul Motin Biswas of Shibpur village, Tk 50,000.
