2 arms peddlers arrested

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested two alleged arms peddlers with two pistols and four magazines at Ghiba village under Benapole Port Police Station in Jessore district yesterday noon. The arrestees are Kutub Uddin Morol, 40, son of Fazlu Morol, and Abdul Momen, 42, son of Rawshan Morol of the village. Major Abdullah Al Mehedi, commanding officer of Rab -6, said acting on a tip-off, the law enforcers raided the area and arrested the two with the firearms around 3:30pm. A case was filed in this connection.
