1.20 lakh addictive tablets seized

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized 1.20 lakh addictive tablets from Changram village at Hili border in Hakimpur upazila of the district yesterday. On secret information, the border guards raided the area and seized the tablets worth about Tk 50.52 lakh. However, none was arrested in this connection. The seized tablets were later handed over to Customs officials, said Lt Col Abdul Khabir Sarker, commanding officer of BGB-3 Battalion.
