Nilphamari district put under lockdown

Nilphamari district was locked down today to prevent further spread of Covid-19 transmission.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) of NilphamariHafizur Rahman Chowdhury today issued a written order, enforcing the lockdown which will continue until further notice, reports our Nilphamari correspondent.

The DC said the order was issued to prevent further infection as four persons tested positive for coronavirus in the district in the last seven days. Most of the infected persons have returned from Narayanganj recently, the DC said.
