Coronavirus: Health ministry issues 13 directives for govt officials, staffers
In an effort to contain the spread of coronovirus, the health ministry today issued a 13-point directive for the staffers and officials of all ministries and neighbouring offices.
A ministry press release said the public works ministry could be asked to set up the needed number of disinfection tunnels and all offices will have to be disinfected before reopening.
All staffers and officials will have their temperature checked before entering offices, official transports will have to be disinfected and the staffers and officials will have to maintain three feet physical distance while traveling and during office, it said.
Masks would have to be worn during office hours and hands have to be frequently washed and sanitised before and after traveling to the offices.
Steps will have to be taken to hang posters on the office walls with directives and those ill must be kept in quarantine, the ministry said in the directive.
