Coronavirus test can be done at 4 public university labs after trial: ministry

Apart from hospitals, four public universities of the country can conduct Covid-19 test as Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) machines have been installed in their labs.

The universities are: Dhaka University, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Science University, Jashore University of Science and Technology and Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.

The public universities can go for testing after trial and necessary procedure, according to a press release from health and family planning ministry.

The government has asked the authorities concerned to take measures in this regard, the release said.
