Coronavirus awareness: Biometric attendance at government hospitals postponed

The health ministry today postponed the biometric attendance of staff and officials at all government healthcare organisations including hospitals due to the outbreak of coronavirus in Bangladesh.

The decision came following the consideration to protect doctors, officials and employees from the virus, said a circular issued by the Health Service Division of the ministry today.

The instruction will be effective until further notice, added the circular.
