US ambassador holds motivational session with diplomatic police

A motivational speaking session was conducted by the US Ambassador and his colleagues at the Embassy's office today, for the benefit of diplomatic police to boost the mental strength of the policemen in their fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

During the meeting, detailed instructions were given to police personnel on staying healthy by keeping their mental strength strong , as well as what can be done to stay healthy physically, said a press release.

US Ambassador to Bangladesh Earl R. Miller expressed his gratitude to all members of the Diplomatic Security Division for providing security in the diplomatic area during this pandemic period.

The exchange was held at the Diplomatic Security Division office in the capital's Gulshan area.

The US Ambassador to Bangladesh was present as the chief guest at the session, while it was chaired by Ashraful Islam, deputy commissioner of the Diplomatic Security Division.

Earl R. Miler gave inspiring and encouraging speeches to members of the police while Ashraful Islam emphasized on keeping the mental strength of the police members strong, added the release.

The session was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Diplomatic Police Muhit Kabir Serneabat, Assistant Commissioner of Police Rajon Kumar Saha, and US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Country Director Michael S Friedman, among others.
