Planning Minister MA Mannan diagnosed with Covid-19, taken to CMH

Planning Minister MA Mannan has been diagnosed with Covid-19 and hospitalised today.

He was admitted to Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka around 12:00pm today, Md Shahedur Rahman, senior information officer of Ministry of Planning, confirmed to The Daily Star.

The minister gave sample for coronavirus test yesterday morning and the result came positive at night, the official said.

He does not have any complications but a minor infection was found in his lungs, the official said.

He was taken to CMH as per directives of the doctors, the official said.
