Health ministry’s media cell chief transferred to agriculture ministry

Md Habibur Rahman Khan, chief of the media cell at the health ministry has been transferred to the agriculture ministry.

Habibur has been made the executive director of Bangladesh Institute of Research and Training on Applied Nutrition (BIRTAN), the public administration ministry today issued a notification in this regard.

It was signed by Abdul Latif, the deputy secretary of the public administration ministry.

Habibur, an additional secretary of the administration, was made chief of media cell at health ministry on April 24 and since then has been talking to media about Covid-19 issues on behalf of the ministry.

Earlier, Md Asadul Islam, secretary of health services division at the ministry was transferred to planning division. Md Abdul Mannan, chairman of the land reformation board replaced him.

On June 8, additional secretaries Sirazul Islam and Ismail Hossain were transferred.
