Dentist with coronavirus symptoms dies in Dhaka

A dentist with covid-19 symptoms died in Dhaka this morning.

"He had covid-19 symptoms and was being treated at home. He died on the way to hospital around 9:00am," said Nirupam Das, chief administrator of Bangladesh Doctors' Foundation.

"Samples have been taken from his body. If he tests positive, he would be the first doctor to have died of coronavirus," he said.
