Covid-19: Air force flies Dr Abdul Kader to Dhaka from Khulna

Dr Abdul Kader, senior consultant of the Orthopedics Department of Shaheed Sheikh Abu Naser Hospital in Khulna, was flown to Dhaka for better treatment for Covid-19 infection.

Dr Kader was taken to Evercare Hospital in the capital by a helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force, the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) said in a release.

Earlier, he had been undergoing treatment at a hospital in Khulna.

Bangladesh Air Force has been providing emergency air transport and medical evacuation assistance in aid to civil power under Bangladesh Armed Forces.

In line with this, Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat provided the necessary guidance to carry out the medical evacuation mission.
