Virtual courts to continue
Star Online Report

Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain has extended the ongoing closure for all courts across the country including the Appellate and High Court Divisions of the Supreme Court till May 30.

The CJ took the decision as a measure to contain the spread of coronavirus in line with the government's decision to extend the shutdown of all offices, said a circular issued by Supreme Court Registrar General Md Ali Akbar today.

However, the functions of the ongoing virtual courts will continue amid the closure, it said.
