Coronavirus scare: All primary schools in Delhi declared shut till March 31

All primary schools in Delhi have been ordered to be shut till March 31 in view of the coronavirus scare.

All of Delhi's government, aided, private and schools run by civic bodies will remain shut, said the capital city's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who also holds the education portfolio, in a tweet.

The primary schools will be closed as a "precautionary measure to prevent the possibility of spread of COVID-19," he said.

India has so far reported 30 coronavirus positive cases, including 16 Italian tourists. Fourteen of the 16 infected Italian tourists are quarantined in Delhi.
