Coronavirus: Govt announces closure in red zones of 10 districts

The government yesterday announced closure in some areas that were marked as red zones by health authorities in 10 districts.

The districts are Chattogram, Bogura, Moulvibazar, Chuadanga, Jashore, Madaripur, Narayanganj, Habiganj, Munshiganj and Cumilla, a gazette notification of the Public Administration Ministry said. It will come into effect from Sunday. 

The notification stated the decision was taken to control public movement. The closure will be effective only in the red zones.

All job-holders of any sector residing in the red zones will have to abide by the closure.
