ACC officer dies from coronavirus in Dhaka

Yet another official of the Anti-Corruption Commission, who had tested positive for coronavirus, has died during undergoing treatment at a hospital in Dhaka.

The deceased was chief assistant at the ACC's Segunbagicha headquarters, Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya, public relations officer of the anti graft body said.

The ACC official breathed his last during undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 1:00pm today, Pranab Kumar said.

The officer was admitted to the hospital recently and was detected Covid-19 positive on May 7, he said.
