6-year-old dies of coronavirus in Chattogram

A six-year-old boy, who tested Covid-19 positive, died at a hospital in Chattogram early today, doctors said.

The boy died at Chattogram General Hospital around 2:30am, said Dr Hasan Shahriar Kabir, Chattogram divisional director of Directorate General of Health Services.

He was among the six new Covid-19 positive patients detected yesterday in Chattogram and had been suffering from fever and diarrhea for three days, Dr Hasan told our staff correspondent.

The boy hailed from Patiya upazila in Chattogram, he added.
