3 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Chattogram

Three more people have tested positive for coronavirus in Chattogram yesterday evening.

The Director of Chattogram's divisional health office Hasan Shahriar Kabir said they tested sixty samples and confirmed the three new patients, reports our Chattogram correspondent.

Of them, one is from Sagorika area, another from Pahartoli and the third patient is from Sitakunda upazila.

With the three new cases, there are now five coronavirus positive patients in the port city.

Authorities have locked down the houses in Pahartoli area and Sagorika in the city and Sitakunda upazila, reports the correspondent.

In Sitakunda upazila, the newly detected patient is a banker by profession and he returned from Narayanganj two days back.
