Youth held with firearms in Ctg

Law enforcers detained a youth with two firearms from Bakalia in Chittagong city yesterday.

Arrested Enamul Huq alias Enam, 29, son of Jafar Ahmmed of the district's Anwara upazila, is accused in several cases including extortion.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of Bakalia police conducted a drive in Bastuhara Khetchar area and caught Enam red-handed with a revolver and a shooter gun, said Abul Monsoor, officer-in-charge of Bakalia Police Station.

A case was filed in this connection with Bakalia Police Station.
