Youth commits 'suicide' in Ctg

A youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in the building where he resided in Paharika Residential area of Chittagong city's Khulshi early yesterday.

Md Hasan Mahmud, 22, son of Sekander Mia of Feni, passed HSC exam this year.

Hasan and his "girlfriend" resided in the same building and were having trouble in their relationship. He went to her flat at night and hanged himself from a window grille, said police who are interrogating the woman now.

He was declared dead at Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
