Yet another bKash official shot, robbed in capital

Muggers shot a bKash official and took away around Tk 1.5 lakh in the capital's Bheribandh yesterday.

Sohag Hossain Anik, 22, sales representatives officer at Jhikatola bKash distribution centre, is undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital with bullet injury in his right thigh.

Four muggers stormed into a bKash agent's shop in the morning when Sohag along with his colleague was collecting money from the agent, said manager of the distribution centre Anwar Mahmud.

The criminals shot Anik as he tried to resist them while they were taking away the money kept in a bag and fled on two motorcycles, the manager added.
