War crime suspect Razzak sent to jail

The International Crimes Tribunal-2 yesterday sent a war crimes suspect to jail.

Abdur Razzak of Habiganj was arrested in Moulvibazar on Tuesday after the tribunal issued an arrest warrant for him on May 17.

The tribunal yesterday asked the jail authorities to produce Razzak before it again on May 25. The tribunal issued the arrest warrant against Razzak following a petition filed by the prosecution saying that the investigation agency found involvement of Razzak in war crimes while probing a war crimes case against two other suspects of the district.
