Victory Day observed in London

On the occasion of Bangladesh's Victory Day and Christmas a reception was organised at Kiplings restaurant in North London on December 15, said a press release.

Nadeem Qadir, minister (press) of Bangladesh High Commission, hosted the programme.

Bangladesh High Commissioner Abdul Hannan, Awami League President of the unit Sultan Shariff, Observer Associate Editor Syed Badrul Ahsan, Commonwealth Journalist Association's Rita Payne, Dennis Dubel, London Press Club vice-chair, and Maria Monteiro of The Diplomatic Press Attachés' Association of London, were present among others.
