UNDP, BRTC launch pilot project to provide bus passengers travel data

The UNDP has launched a pilot project with Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) to provide bus passengers real-time traffic data, said a press release yesterday.

Both the organisations worked to equip BRTC buses with Global Positioning Systems (GPS) to provide real-time estimates of the length of the user's bus trip along the Abdullahpur-Motijheel route, delivered through the GoTraffic app.
