Two rapists get life term in Ctg

A Chittagong court yesterday sentenced two fugitive rapists to life term imprisonment and also fined them Tk 50,000 each in separate rape cases.

On September 24, 2012, Md Azam Khan, 40, a taxi driver, of Satkania upazila, raped a six-year-old girl in his taxi on a field where she was playing.

Earlier on April 9, 1999, woodcutter Nasir Uddin, of Chandanaish upazila, raped a girl when she went to a hillock at Lalutila for collecting woods.
