Two kids drown in Gazipur

Two children drowned in a water body in Mahishbathan area of Kapasia upazila in Gazipur yesterday.

They deceased were Sohana, 4, daughter of Mamun Akanda and Tamim, 3, son of Asmot Akanda.

Family members said the two kids went to play beside the water body (beel) near their houses in the morning with other kids. At one stage, they slipped into the water and drowned.
