Two die as trawler capsizes

Two men died when a trawler capsized in Kalni river in Ajmeriganj of Habiganj Thursday evening.

The dead were Milon Kol, 18, and Sumon Sobor, 19, of Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar.  

Police said the trawler carrying six passengers was heading to Paharpur Bazar in Shibpasa village when it capsized after being hit by a tree floating on the Kalni river.

The other passengers managed to swim ashore, said police.  Locals rushed in and recovered the bodies.
