Two Bangladehis die in KSA, 2 kids in Chandpur

Four persons were killed and 29 others injured in road accidents in the country and Saudi Arabia yesterday.

UNB from Chandpur reports, two Bangladeshi expatriates were killed in a road accident in Saudi Arabia, said the families.

Khorshed Alam, 30, hailed from Kamalapur village in Chandpur Sadar upazila, while Abdul Malek Hawladar, 40, from Dhalir Ghat village of the upazila.

Our Mymensingh correspondent reports, two female madrasa students were killed and two others injured as a truck hit them from behind on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Naudhar area of Trishal upazila.

Nipa Akhtar, 14, was a class X student, while Nadia Binte Hossain, was a ninth-grader at Trishal Abbasia Fazil Madrasa, police said.

Our Dinajpur correspondent reports, at least seven persons were injured as a battery-run auto-rickshaw fell into a roadside ditch in Akkelpur upazila of Joypurhat.
