TIB seeks qualified persons

Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) yesterday urged the government to appoint honest, competent, neutral, professionally experienced, skilled and acceptable persons to top posts of Anti Corruption Commission, National Human Rights Commission and Information Commission.

In a statement,TIB Executive Director Dr Iftekharuzzaman said it is the government's duty to appoint persons having the determination and leadership qualities to ensure good governance, resist corruption, establish human rights and ensure the right to information.
