Three madrasa students die from electrocution in Naogaon

Three female students of a madrasa died and 16 others were injured from electrocution at Sotihat of Manda upazila in Noagaon on Thursday.
The deceased were Rabeya, 12, Asha Mim, 14, and Sharmin Akhtar, 12 of Sotihat Tomijuddin Chakdar Shishu Sadan and Mohila Hafejia Madrasa.
Police said the girls were electrocuted when they touched the iron railing of the balcony of their two-story tin-roofed madrasa. There was a leaked electric wire on the tin that was connected to the railing with an iron rod.
