Tangail poetry festival starts today

A two-day fourth Bangla Poetry Festival-2015, organised by Sadharan Granthagar, begins in Tangail's Bhasani Hall today.

Around 250 poets of Bangladesh and 40 ones from India will take part in the event, which will be inaugurated by Tangail Zila Parishad Administrator Fazlur Rahman Khan Faruk. The Indian poets include Debi Roy, Ananta Dash, Amrita Maiti, Kamol Chakrabartee, Shyamalkanti Dash, Sujit Sarkar, Apurba Datto, Choitali Chattopaddhoy, Rafiqul Islam, Manoshi Kirtoniya, Abdus Shukur Khan and Adip Ghosh.
