Swedish deputy minister in town

Swedish Deputy Minister for Employment Irene Wennemo arrived in Dhaka yesterday on a two-day visit to see developments and progress made in the country's labour market.

Though the main purpose of her visit is to attend the Bangladesh Development Forum, she will also see projects funded by Sweden promoting development of skills in the RMG sector. 

Wennemo will also meet State Minister of Labour and Employment Mujibul Haque, said a release of the Swedish embassy.
