Student cabinet polls held in Gazipur

Student cabinet elections were held amid immense enthusiasm at various schools in Gazipur and all over the country yesterday in accordance with the government recent order to hold elections at all secondary schools and madrasas to help students practice democratic norms and values.
Abdul Kadir, a senior teacher at Sreepur Pilot Girls High School, said the teachers informed the students of election procedures beforehand, adding that such practice would help flourish their leadership quality and learn democratic cultures.
