SCBA annual election ends

The two-day annual election to Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) ended yesterday peacefully.

Some 3,921 lawyers out of 5,036 cast their votes.

The main contest would take place between the panels of ruling Awami League backed Sammilita Ainjibi Samannaya Parishad (SASP) and BNP-Jamaat backed Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Oikya Parishad (JAOP), SCBA sources said.
