Hasina Ahmed, wife of BNP joint secretary general Salahuddin Ahmed who is facing a case in India over illegal entry, returned home from Shillong Friday night.

Hasina arrived to collect necessary documents and papers relating to her husband's disappearance to produce those before a Meghalaya court, BNP sources said.

Salahuddin's younger bother Giasuddin Ahmed, who also returned with Hasina, told The Daily Star last night that his sister-in-law was likely to travel to India again before Eid-ul-Fitr.
