Road crashes kill 3, injure 28

Three people were killed and 24 others injured in road accidents in three districts yesterday and Friday.

In Bagerhat Sadar, Hanif Sheikh, 42, of Malgachhi village was killed and four of his family members were injured when a three-wheeler crashed into a lamp post after the driver lost control over the vehicle near Dartana Bridge yesterday. In Dinajpur, bus helper Shimul Rahaman, 30, of Rangpur was killed and 24 people were injured in a head-on collusion between two buses on Dinajpur-Rangpur highway yesterday. In Jhalakathi Sadar, Saleh Ahamed, 35, of Joysri was killed when a truck hit his bicycle from behind on Barisal-Khulna highway on Friday night.
