Road crashes kill 3, injure 11

Three people were killed and 11 others injured in road accidents in three districts yesterday and Saturday.

In Rajshahi, Tajrin, 4, daughter of Liton Ali of Godagari upazila was killed and another girl injured as a bus hit them while they were playing on the road at Abhoyer Mor in the upazila yesterday.

In Pirojpur, Nazim Mahmud Ziko, 21, of Shehangal village was killed when a bus hit him before it fell into a roadside ditch in Kashir Bazar of Nesarabad upazila on Saturday evening.

Eight passengers of the bus were also injured.

In Gazipur city, Amzad Ali Sarker, 50, of Gaibandha was killed and two people were injured when a human-hauler hit his bicycle and dashed against a road divider on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Masterbari area yesterday.
