RMG workers demonstrate for dues in Gazipur

Workers of Huda Winty Sweater Fashion Ltd demonstrated in front of the factory premises at Shalna of Gazipur yesterday, demanding payment of their salary for September, October and November.

The agitators said the owners closed the factory without any prior notice and without paying their due wages.

Accounts officer of the factory, SH Pronoy Chowdhury, said, delayed shipment and drop in work-orders led the management to this situation.

However, Gazipur Industrial Police, after discussing with the authorities, brought the situation under control assuring their payment on November 30.
